1930s Chiltern Hugmee Bear called Major Tom. The Major has that wonderful Traditional Teddy Bear Build with a slightly humped back! Teddy measures approximately 17" inches Circa Early 1930s.

  • He lived through the entire Second World War loving and comforting his first child owner
  • He loves to recount stories of his bravery during the Air Raids!
  • The Dashing Major in his younger days of course wooed all the lady Bears
  • And he likes to think he still bears a marked resemblance to a certain silver screen heart throb
  • His Gorgeous Antique Mohair is a Rich Antique Gold colour beautifully curly and soft
  • Overall he is very well furred with a 75% coverage and is quite proud of his hairy chest
  • A few small areas of fur loss but nothing that detracts from his gorgeous appeal
  • Tom measures approximately 17” inches from top to toe
  • His nose and mouth stitching is all original and in good condition
  • Although his squeaker packed up long ago he is a great listener!
  • These days Major Tom likes nothing better than to recline in his smoking jacket
  • He has his own cute 1930s Hot Water bottle to help keep those 80 plus year old joints moving!
  • He has a little bit of the traditional Bear Hump to his back very sought after in these old bears
